Going on right now and continuing through April, May, and June is my show of 25 NEW paintings at FWCAC, 1300 Gendy Street, Ft. Worth. Will have a reception in June and alert the blog as it gets closer to the date.

Blossoms Exhibition

Just got word that my painting in Blossoms Exhibition sold to James E. Parkman, Chairman of the Board of the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation, which puts on the exhibition. This foundation has raised over 2 BILLION dollars for breast cancer research. The exhibition is a win/win situation for the artist and the foundation as they give artist 70% of sale. Pretty thrilled !!!

Also mailed off my two entries to the International Salon at Greenhouse Gallery.

Entry into Online Competition

Have had 8 paintings in the "top 15 %" of the paintings entered into the online competition, but never a top winner. It is soooo much fun for me. Here is my February entry entitled "Wisconsin Girl" and was purchased by a young woman that lives in one of my sub divisions (developed in the 70's). It was great to meet her and get to know a bit about her.
